Janelle Robinson a.k.a Janelle Monae

Janelle Monae who was born in kansas city, knew from the start that she wanted to be a star. Knowing Kansas did not have much to offer, she moved to New York and attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy on hoping of becoming big in musical theater. She soon realized that this wasn't the move for her and moved to Atlanta, becoming part of a band.  In 2006 Janelle appeared in Outkast video "Morris Brown," and on the Idlewild soundtrack. In 2007 the rumors started about Janelle joining Bad Boy Entertainment. March 2008, the rumors were confirmed and Bad Boy had a new edition to the family. Check her out on www.badboyonline.com
