A lil info on Michael Stevenson a.k.a TYGA

Tyga the new young 18 year old artist who is cousin to Gym Class Heros Travis McCoy, started out by making and selling his mixtapes. Tyga got his start at the 2007 MtV Music Awards where he took Kanye West place in the remix to Fall Out Boys "Arms Race," featuring Lil Wayne, Paul Waul and Traivs McCoy. Tyga took the spotlight at the awards while making friends with Lil wayne who is now his mentor and Tyga who is now signed to Young Money entertainment. With Tygas first hit "Cocount Juice," being played everywhere, Tyga had to drop his new hit Diamond Life. Tyga a west coast rapper from Compton where gang activity is heavy, says that he doesn't rap about gang violence, he raps to get his music out and let people know who Tyga is.
